We had family room to ourselves with the softest carpet and the most comfortable bed plus TV with movies. The location was brilliant for traveling around Esher, near other restaurants too and a taxi.

We enjoyed the place and marvellous and incredibly nice breakfast in it.
The location was brilliant, within walking distance of Wayneflete Tower. Btw, the airport was 25 km away. There were cosy & tastefully decorated rooms with the most comfortable bed and the softest carpet plus movies.

Edwina created an lovely experience with a hearty full English that set us up for the day, and her hospitality. The location strikes a perfect balance with quick access to good restaurants, like The Albert Arms just a stone's throw away.
Just a heads-up, public transport to central London can be a bit of a slog, often taking around 1hr 20min, but the lovely charm of the lodge more than makes up for it. While there's not a ton to do right on the doorstep, I reckon it's a fair trade-off for comfort.

The unique vintage decor and garden views from the dining area created a charming and inviting atmosphere.
The stairs leading to the rooms were quite narrow, making it challenging to navigate with larger luggage.

Edwina, the host, creates a warm atmosphere with her personalized service. The location is quiet yet conveniently close to Hampton Court. I loved the variety of breakfast options, especially the delicious full English. The room offered plenty of tea and coffee facilities, nice. The mattress was perfectly firm and comfortable. The stairs to access the room are quite narrow was good. I also noticed some old stains on the bedding that were washed but still present. A better sign outside the house would help guests find it more easily. The lack of clear communication about some facilities was a bit disappointing, too.

The homemade breakfast by Edwina was a good highlight, with options that catered to different tastes.
The lack of clear signage outside made it difficult to locate the lodge at first.

The stay offered a quiet atmosphere, with spacious accommodations with antique furnishings. The full English breakfast was abundant and thoughtfully prepared, complementing the pleasant experience. The narrow stairs could be cumbersome for larger luggage, and the location, while charming, required a bit of a commute to central attractions. A clearer sign outside would help future guests find the place easily.

Cozy charm with warm hospitality!
Edwina were really good, helping us with dinner bookings and allowing us to store our bags. The in-room breakfast was a treat, especially the homemade pastries. Just wish the stairs were a bit easier for carrying heavier bags, but the vintage vibes totally made up for it!
